Since the operation of cash registers is fraught with difficulties and requires time and certain qualifications from personnel, having a cash register is not necessary to trade the following goods:

• public transport tickets;
• printed publications;
• draft drinks in kiosks and from tankers;
• products from household plots;
• ice cream in kiosks.

Retail traders at markets and peddlers are also exempt from using cash register machines. For all other cases, the requirements of 54-FZ apply in full.

Separately, we note that online trade in the goods described above is not officially classified as retail, therefore settlement with the client using a cash register is mandatory. But the law does not require each courier to be equipped with a cash register - it is allowed to punch a receipt in the office and delay its delivery to the buyer along with the goods. It is carried out by courier.

Species

The Elwes cash register is a family consisting of several types of devices. They differ in design and scope of functions. Currently in production three modifications of KKM Elwes:

• Elwes-Micro-K (version 01);
• Elwes-Micro-K (version 02);
• Elwes-Micro-K (version 02, with modem).

Elwes-Micro-K (version 01)

Basic model. Uses the Philips P89C60X2BA processor - the same for all models of the Elwes series. Designed for use only in trade sphere and the service sector. The functionality is very small, limited to accepting cash payments and accounting for fiscal data. From additional features– connection of external scales.

Elwes-Micro-K (version 02)

– option for large trading enterprises with a large number of items in stock. The number of programmable prices has been increased to 1000 (version 01 has only 100). The device is also certified for use in the field of fuel trading - gas fuel and petroleum products.

Exists two options This type of cash registers differs in the type of keyboard - push-button or film. A barcode reader can be connected, and the screen backlight is optionally installed. Initially, it is possible to work with dispenser controllers on gas stations. To connect to the fuel dispenser, the RS-232C functional interface is used. Wireless connection is not possible.

Elwes-Micro-K (version 02, with modem)

This model is the only one in the entire line initially equipped with a screen with built-in backlight. But its main feature is the ability to connect an external modem. With its help, KKM can provide payments for communication services mobile operators. Payments are possible through various payment systems, including the popular QIWI and MasterPort.

In the original version of the device, the function of connecting additional external devices (barcode readers or contactless card scanners) to it is not possible. To eliminate the shortcoming, an SDK package has been developed - the software allows you to adapt the USB port to connect a wide range of devices.

All types of Elwes cash registers are equipped with built-in printing mechanisms. The work uses mechanisms of the SHTRIH-MTP205 model (from the manufacturer) or CITIZEN MLT-288, which allows the additional installation of an automatic check cutter. The printing paper used is rolls with a ribbon width of 57.5 mm.

The Elwes-Micro-K model is popular thanks to the following advantages:

1. Autonomy – a full battery charge is enough to issue up to 150 checks.
2. 2 charging options - through a stationary network with a standard charger and through an adapter from a car cigarette lighter.
3. Relatively high speed printing – up to 15 lines/second.
4. 8 printing fonts.
5. All-weather - not afraid of getting wet, performance is guaranteed at temperatures from –20°C to +40°C.
6. Compactness - the weight of the basic model is 900 g, version 02 - 800 g.

Unfortunately, it cannot do without shortcomings:

1. There is no possibility to make a cashless payment.
2. The lack of screen backlight in the basic version means that it is impossible to work in the absence of lighting.
3. There is no automatic cutter - there is a possibility of damage to the punched check.

The listed disadvantages are inherent not only to Elwes-Micro-K cash register machines, but to most other mobile devices.

Instructions

All products of the manufacturer "Shtrikh-M" must be accompanied by brief instructions on setting up and operating cash registers. It also provides key combinations for activating various operating modes. The most common keys and their meanings:

1. RE– switching operating modes/returning to cash register mode.
2. OPL– start of input or completion of input of a combination.
3. WITH– cancel/reset command.
4. 00 – command confirmation.
5. X– calculation of the cost of goods by quantity.

Before the first test activation of Elwes-Micro-K, it is recommended to keep the device in a dry and warm room for at least 3 hours to avoid failures.

The cash register is designed for intensive use; settings can be reset if the cash register is idle for several days. In this case, the device will ask you to enter a new date instead of the incorrect one (displayed on the screen), which can be done using the key combination:

1. OPL key– the time setting interface is displayed; install it.
2. OPL key– when pressed a second time, the message C-00 appears, asking for confirmation of date changes.
3. Key 00– confirm that the entered date is correct.

While working, the cashier needs to know the following combinations:

1. Cash register mode – double pressing key 1, then OPL.
2. Punching a check - the OPL key, the amount is displayed in the interface that opens, the OPL key - the check is displayed.
3. Registration of several goods - combination of OPL + amount + BB; the combination is repeated until all names are taken into account; PS key – the total amount is displayed, OPL – the check is displayed.
4. Registration of several identical goods - number of items of the same type + X + unit cost of goods + OPL.
5. Counting change - the combination is repeated to check out several items; after pressing PS, the amount submitted by the client + OPL is indicated.
6. – enter the cash register mode (1+1+OPL), key VZ + amount required for return, then BB + OPL.

Although Elwes devices provide the ability for the customer to return goods, it is not necessary to use the function. Firstly, this is not required by the fiscal authorities, and secondly, processing returns does not affect the entire result for the shift.

Elwes-Micro-K operates on a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1.3 ampere-hours. If the charge level is insufficient, the Acc Lo formula appears on the screen, and when completely discharged, the red indicator lights up and a sound signal follows. The work must be stopped immediately; by pressing the OPL key, we connect the cash register to the charger.

Price

Cost of control cash register depends on its modification, as well as on the price set by the selling company. Average prices per device following:

If the Z report was taken on the same day when the sales were processed, then the next day you need to confirm the current date and time, after which you can work.

Malfunctions and ways to eliminate them.

Acc Lo – turn off the cash register after 15 seconds. Turn on. Or charge the battery.
E –103 (no paper) insert receipt tape or refill it.
E –132 control tape buffer overflow (remove Z-report)
E -136 shift exceeded 24 hours (remove Z-report)

The cash register with the ability to operate autonomously ELVES-Micro-K is a certified specialized device for customer service and cash payments in various fields activities, with the exception of telecommunications and postal services. A distinctive characteristic of the ELVES-micro-K device is its compact dimensions (75x116x232 mm) and low weight (900 g), which allows it to work in conditions where other devices simply will not fit. The body of the cash register has moisture-proof and dust-proof protection, which increases its level of functionality and weather resistance. Due to its small size, ELVES-micro-K is portable and can be used for work in transport. The device initially has special settings and can issue a ticket with a pre-programmed cost and data; this function is important for working in the field of transport transportation. At the same time, the simultaneously programmed number of tariffs can reach 10, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the billing process. The ELVES-micro-K cash register is equipped with a Citizen LP-286 thermal printer, which is loaded with 57 mm wide thermochemical paper - the most common modern material. This thermal printer provides fast, silent and correct operation and does not require replaceable cartridges. The functionality of the device is also ensured by an 8-digit backlit display and a comfortable dust- and moisture-proof keyboard consisting of 12 function and 12 numeric keys.

Opening shift

To open a shift, you must first enter the cash register mode.

Sending a check to a client via SMS

Before sending, you need to know that the option only works when you activate the SMS sending service from the OFD.

Before closing the check by pressing the IT key, press the AN key and in the field that opens, enter the client’s 10-digit phone number without 8 or +7 at the beginning; to complete the operation, press IT.

X report output

A report on the current state of calculations, also known as an X-report, is displayed after pressing the following key sequence:

• Press PE twice.
• Press the IT key.
• Press key1.
• The cash register will print out the X-report.

Z-report output

The shift closing report, also known as the Z-report, is displayed after pressing the following key sequence:

• Press PE twice.
• Enter the sequence 3, 2, 9 (or 3 3 0).

Registration Elwes-MF

Registration of the Elwes-MF cash register is not an easy task and it cannot be called obvious. In addition, the manufacturer of Shtrikh-M reports that only cash registers with firmware version 0966 are normally registered. Therefore, before registering a cash register with the Federal Tax Service online, make sure that you have the appropriate firmware version. To do this, print out a test receipt. To call a test check, press the keys in the following sequence: RE -> RE -> 00 -> 2 -> IT. On the receipt you will see information about the firmware version (Version). If it differs from 0966, the device will need to be re-flashed.

Flashing

The flashing process is quite simple with software 1.0.0900RU and higher. To do this, you do not need a programmer, but only a program a la HyperTerminal to access COM ports. This program is built into older versions of Windows, up to and including XP. If you are using a new Windows version, then you can download HyperTerminal from the official website (trial version)

Flashing algorithm:

Install HyperTerminal.

During startup, the software will ask for a connection name, enter com_E.

Specify the port parameters as follows:

• Speed: 115200.
• Data bits: 8.
• Parity - no.
• Stop bits – 1.
• Flow control - no.

Now connect the cash register to the main COM port.

• Turn on the cash register with the IT key pressed, the display will show the message BOOT.
• The HyperTerminal window displays the characters §§§.
• Select the TRANSFER menu and go to data transfer (SEND FILE
• Specify the path to the firmware, for example C:\EMF1.0.09960RU.BIN.
• Specify the Xmodem protocol and click the SEND button.

Registration of Elwes-MF with the Federal Tax Service

First option

As before the advent of online cash registers, you can register a cash register at your Federal Tax Service branch.
To do this, you need to select the OFD and conclude an agreement with it, fill out the voluminous KND form No. 1110061 (7 pages). After which you can take the KKT, the KKT-PC cable, the completed KND form No. 1110061, go to the tax office and wait in line there. Not the brightest prospect, so it’s better to move on to the second option, the implementation of which will require an electronic digital signature.

Second option

Online registration

To do this you will need: select the OFD and conclude an agreement with it, connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi (the name and password from the network should not exceed 24 characters each), log in to the Personal Account of the Federal Tax Service, digital signature, cable for connecting the computer and the cash register, software software for editing tables.

• In your personal account on the Federal Tax Service website, connect a new cash register to obtain a cash register registration number.
• Set the time and date on the cash register (for the setting algorithm, see the Programming section).
• Connect the cash register to the PC using a cable.
• Press the key combination 9 -> 3 -> 0 (strictly in this sequence) to provide Elwes-MF access to the computer. The message CB=HE will be displayed on the cash register display.
• Turn on the table editing program and use the program to find the cash register.
• Adjust the tables according to the suggested example. Leave the default data if you don't know what to write in the field.

Record the information from the tables in the cash register.

• Press the PE key to exit the table recording mode.
• Consistently press the keys 8 -> 3 -> 0 -> IT -> 1 to enter access mode fiscal accumulator.
• Elwes-MF will print a receipt with registration information. Check it carefully.
• If everything is correct, press the 00 key to confirm the information. The cash register will print out a check indicating the NFD and FD.
• Go to Personal Account on the Federal Tax Service website, click on the registration number of the cash register and enter NFD and FD in the form that opens.
• If your OFD requires it, enter the required parameters in the OFD Personal Account.
• The message I = 9 will be displayed on the Elwes-MF display; by pressing PE, go to the general mode.
• If the data is entered correctly, the cash register indicator on the Federal Tax Service website will light green.

Attention! Any data entered with an error will inevitably require re-registration of the cash register. The number of re-registrations depends on the fiscal drive and currently fiscal drives allow up to 11 re-registrations.

For an inexplicable reason, Shtrikh-M programmers offer the user to calculate the tax system using a bit mask. We bring to your attention a list of human-understandable meanings for designating the taxation system.

• OCH = 1.

If you need to specify several taxation systems or operating modes, we recommend using the “FR Driver Test”, located in the folder of installed drivers from Shtrikh-M. In the software, go to the “FN” item and select the “FN Fiscalization” tab. Place a checkmark next to the required parameters and see their symbolic meaning in the adjacent window. Please enter these values ​​when registering.

Or you can calculate the desired value yourself. For example, you want to indicate two taxation systems, “STS income – expense” and “UTII”. “STS income – expense” is assigned the value 4, and “UTII” 8. Let’s add these values, we get 12. This number is recorded in the tables as a parameter of the taxation system.

If, however, you made a mistake somewhere or for any other reason you need to re-register Elwes-MF, then it is not difficult to do.

Re-registration of cash register

Enter the following sequence from the cash register keyboard:

• Press 8.
• Press 3.
• Press 0.
• Click IT.

• Reason code (1 – replacement of the fiscal drive, 2 – change of the official document, 3 – change of the organization’s details, 4 – change of the cash register settings).

The weather is changeable and it is often impossible to keep track of its changes. Programming Elwes-MF from the KKT keyboard in any weather remains a difficult and simply frightening dark forest for beginners. It is gratifying that in such conditions software has appeared with which you can program Elwes-MF options from a computer.

However, at the next stage, the user will be faced with the lack of a COM cable included with the cash register. In addition, you will most likely have to worry about purchasing a COM-USB adapter, since most computers are not equipped with COM ports.

How to enter programming mode
