New profile and “machines on machines”

In recent years, we have not been like that; we often hear about the opening of new enterprises in our city, and Kamensky Machine Tool Plant LLC is not such a big enterprise that you can notice it right away. But it opened six years ago.

At that time, entrepreneur Sergei Anatolyevich Miroshnichenko noticed that our city was very attractive for locating production, and he decided to locate a plant here. A limited liability company was formed, an area was purchased - part of a former distillery, equipment was installed, and specialists were invited.

Over time, they bought more buildings, expanded production, and now Kamensky Machine Tool Plant LLC produces a whole range of computer numerical control (CNC) machines: milling, turning, carpentry, cast iron, laser...

There are exclusive machines for making carved furniture, jewelry, and a large machine for plasma cutting of metal. Such machines are bought not only in Russia, but also in Belarus and Kazakhstan.

At first, it was difficult to compete with the Chinese production of machine tools, but local engineers showed a streak of rationalization: the machines are assembled on the basis of a profile that they developed themselves, and now they are awaiting about ten patents for profile types.

Due to the invention and application of new profiles, the cost of production turned out to be low and quite competitive. The workers at the enterprise are quite highly skilled, and they produce modern metalworking and woodworking machines that are easy to operate.

As production manager Anton Aleksandrovich Atamanyuk said, there are also large four- and five-axis machines in production, of which very few are produced in Russia.

What else helps improve the production process and make production costs even lower?

Workers make machine parts on the same machines made by themselves, any operations: milling, drilling, threading...

We compete with the main manufacturer of machine tools from China, and there are also many other manufacturers and intermediaries in the market, says General Director S.A. Miroshnichenko, - but we work directly with consumers, to order, so we keep our prices reasonable.

In the future - expansion of production, instead of 1800 sq. there will be another seven thousand m of production space. To do this, we purchased and are renovating a former motor vehicle depot (KSAT), where we are going to open workshops for the production of machine tools. There will be warehouse space available there that will allow us to produce products with a reserve. So far we have two dozen employees, and there will be many more.

By the way, we are building our business not only in our city, there is a branch in Moscow, where partial assembly and full configuration of machines is also possible. It’s nice that we also have it in the capital, because more often than not it happens the other way around. But, we think it’s better if we don’t go to them, and they come to us, because it’s important where the taxes remain. And the Kamensky Machine Tool Plant is gradually integrating into the city’s economic infrastructure, and social ties are being established.

Design features

Machine frame

The 777 series CNC milling machine is equipped with a steel welded frame welded from metal pipes with a cross-section of 200x200 mm. The frame is very rigid and allows this machine to process any materials, including metals.

Machine portal

The machine is equipped with a powerful steel portal. The portal is made of thick steel sheets. The portal supports are made of 20 mm thick steel, due to which the portal has very good rigidity, which allows the machine to process high-strength materials.

HiWin rail guides

The 777 series CNC milling machines are equipped with rail guides from the world's most famous manufacturer, HiWin. Depending on the machine model, rail guides with a width of 15-20 mm are installed. These indicators are wear-resistant, give the machine high dynamics, and allow you to work with high precision.

Ball screws

The 777 Series CNC machines are equipped with ball screws. Ball screw diameter is from 20 to 25 mm depending on the machine model. This type of transmission eliminates the occurrence of backlash. Thanks to the ball screw, the machine receives high characteristics of accuracy, reliability and wear resistance. One ball screw is installed along the X and Z axes, and 2 ball screws are installed along the Y axis to ensure greater reliable and accurate movement of the portal.

Corrugated protection

On CNC machines of the 777 series, corrugated protection is installed on all axes. Mountain protection prevents chips, dust and dirt from entering the moving elements of the machine (rail guides, ball screws). This significantly extends the service life of the machine and simplifies their maintenance.

Professional spindle

CNC milling machines 777 series are equipped with a professional water-cooled spindle. This spindle allows you to use this machine 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Spindle speed 24000 rpm

Stepper motors

The machine is driven by stepper motors. Stepper motors provide good accuracy to the machine, but they are inferior in reliability to servo motors. Installation of servo motors on this machine is also possible at the request of the customer.

Aluminum Groove Table

The machine is equipped with an aluminum groove table. Any workpiece can be conveniently attached to this machine using special bolts. There is also the possibility of installing a vacuum table. If you have a vacuum table, the workpiece is simply placed on the table and suctioned by vacuum.

Flexible cable channel

On the machines of the Kamensky Twitte plant, flexible cable channels (cable layers) are installed so that the cables used on the machines are correctly laid when moving the moving parts of the machine, do not get tangled and do not interfere with the operation of the machine itself.
