Flower necklace made of polymer clay will be a great addition to a summer dress. The bright red color of the necklace will allow you to be the center of attention.

Materials and tools:
- red polymer clay with glitter;
- white polymer clay;
- a stationery blade or a special blade for working with polymer clay;
- toothpicks;
- dry pastel and brush;
- jewelry cable 0.4 mm;
- red small beads;
- carabiner lock;
- small silver beads;
- chain to increase the length of the necklace;
- protection against cable chafing;
- clips for jewelry cable;
- thin red beading line;
- thin red satin ribbon (3 mm);
- large red beads;
- acrylic or glass red beads 10 mm;
- acrylic or glass red beads 5 mm;
- small caps for beads;
- pliers;
- wire cutters.

Step 1. In order to make a rose from plastic, we roll out the rope and cut it into equal parts with a stationery blade using a ruler.

Roll out a plastic ball and place it on a toothpick. This will be the core of the flower.

We squeeze a piece of plastic and give it the shape of a petal. On the one hand, the petal should be as thin as possible, on the other hand, you can leave it thicker. Press the petal to the core of the flower. Add two more petals. The petals should fit tightly to the core. The next row has four petals. They should no longer be pressed. They should be positioned exactly as shown in the photo. Add four more petals. We bend them a little. You may get more petals, depending on their size and the size of the flower itself. The next row produced five petals. They should be bent further.

Since the petals were thickened, it is necessary to shrink the flower from the back side and trim off the excess with a clerical blade. Use a needle to make two through holes, as shown in the photo. For this necklace you will need seven roses.

Step 2. Let's make small flowers. We roll out the white polymer clay into a rope and cut it into pieces, just as we cut the red plastic. Roll out the ball. Using a utility blade, make two cuts on top, as shown in the photo. Use a toothpick to bend the petals, flatten them, and smooth them out. We make a hole between the petals, in the middle of the flower. Gently sharpen the petals by pressing them with a toothpick.

Now let's tint them a little. Apply crushed red dry pastel with a thin brush to the inner surface of the flower. It should not be applied completely to the flower, but closer to the middle. For the necklace you will need 18 flowers.

Step 3. Bake polymer clay. The baking temperature and time are indicated on the package.

Step 4. Let's start assembling the necklace.

We string a white flower and a red bead onto a red wire.

We pass the wire through the flower so that the bead is in the center of the flower. Then we string a silver bead onto a wire and twist it. We twist two more silver beads onto the wire, as shown in the photo.

We put two more flowers on the wire and wrap it around the jewelry cable.

To assemble, you need to bend the wire in half and work with both ends of the wire at the same time. Tighten it well so that the wire does not slip off the cable. We pass the wire through the holes in the rose and secure it to the cable. Then we attach two white beads, two flowers and two more beads. We continue to assemble the necklace in the same sequence as shown in the photo.

Step 5. When all the flowers have been collected, we secure the ends of the red wire to the cable, wrapping them several times, and cutting off the excess. We wrap a red satin ribbon around the cable along the entire length of the necklace. You need to wrap the cable as tightly as possible so that the necklace looks neat and no unsightly turns of red wire are visible. We tie the ends of the red ribbon and secure the knot with colorless manicure varnish.

Step 6. We string beads and beads onto a jewelry cable, alternating them. First we string a jewelry cable clip, a small bead and a bead cap, then beads and large beads. We put protection against chafing and a carabiner lock on the cable, pass the end of the cable through all the beads and secure the clamp with pliers. We cut off the excess with pliers. We also string beads on the other side, but instead of a lock we put on a chain, which will allow you to change the length of the necklace. You can add glass beads and butterfly-shaped beads to the necklace.

The polymer clay necklace with flowers is ready!

Unique products and original jewelry are incredibly popular in the 21st century. The desire to stand out from the crowd, to have jewelry that has no analogues or copies, gave impetus to the development of the polymer structure in fashion industry. Today we will try to create a beautiful polymer clay necklace with a leopard print with our own hands.

We will need:

  • polymer clay in 3 colors (black, brown, green);
  • knife for polymer clay;
  • rolling pin;
  • molds (catheters);
  • accessories for assembly;
  • sanding pad or nail file;
  • glossy varnish for products made of polymer clay.

Master class: how to make a necklace from polymer clay

1. Soften the brown clay to make it easier to sculpt. Then we roll it into a sausage approximately 7-10 cm long, 2 cm thick. The indicated dimensions are not absolute, because in the process the sausage will still increase in length and change in width.

2. The next step is to make an oblong, not very deep vein using a wooden brush handle. Roll out black polymer clay into a thin round sausage so that its width fits into the prepared vein. We put a thin sausage into it, as shown in the photo.

3. Next, we wrap the resulting sausage completely around with the same black “wires”, only without making the veins.

4. Now take green polymer clay. In our case, we mixed it with white and got a “craquelure” effect, but you can just take any shade of green. Roll out a layer (at least 3 mm) of this color with a rolling pin and wrap the prepared sausage around it in one layer.

5. Now you need to give the sausage a shape: in this case, not a perfect rectangle. Why shouldn't you keep the super-ideal proportions of a rectangle? Because the drawing will be too clear, limited by shape. If you have determined the shape, then cut the sausage into 4 parts. We put a quartet of pieces together, as seen in the photo.

6. We begin again to form the sausage of the shape we need. Having achieved a rectangle with rounded corners, cut the sausage into 2 parts. We got leopard print.

7. You can repeat the process by connecting these 2 parts and cutting them in half again to get a smaller print. As an example, we carried out this procedure and showed you this variation. However, we will use a large print.

8. Cut the sausage into pieces about 3-5 mm thick.

9. Roll out brown polymer clay into a layer.

10. Place our prepared pieces with leopard print close to each other on the layer.

11. Roll them out using a special acrylic rolling pin. Important point: You don't want to roll it out to a thin width - you just want the pieces to roll into a single object.

12. Deciding on catheters. Give preference to different shapes if you want to get an original and abstract necklace design. We place the selected catheters on the layer and cut out volumetric beads for our product.

Every experienced craftswoman can make a very beautiful necklace made of polymer clay. At the same time, you can always add something of your own to the decor.

When working with polymer baked clay, there are various techniques, having studied which, you can create your own unique patterns and ornaments. But someone is guided by their own taste and experience, and this does not make the products and decorations worse or more uninteresting. This is exactly how the “Asia” necklace was “born”.

What you need to make a necklace:

  • green polymer clay (packaging);
  • a blade for working with clay or a stationery knife;
  • paste machine, you can use a rolling pin made of acrylic, glass or any other material without notches and seams;
  • toothpicks or thin knitting needles;
  • metallic acrylic paint, napkins;
  • glossy varnish;
  • pins, connecting rings, bronze chain pieces, carabiner lock:
  • beads made of glass (acrylic, plastic, wood) of a suitable color.

How to make a necklace from polymer clay

Making the Asia necklace begins with softening the clay. It’s difficult to mash the entire package at once, so I do it in parts. Having kneaded it well, I connect both parts and roll them into one bar.

I divide it visually into three parts. I only cut one. I will make round and oblong beads from them, so I put this part aside for now, and divide two-thirds of the bar into five parts - these are blanks for a necklace, two are larger, three are smaller.

I roll out each piece using a pasta machine or rolling pin.

I fold all the parts in half.

I form the blanks in the shape of a trapezoid. Makes five pieces different sizes: central, two side ones of the same size and the next side ones a little smaller.

Now we’ve reached the delayed piece of clay! I cut it into pieces with a blade, form two balls and flatten them - these are flat beads. A few pieces of sticks of different sizes, and just cut circles is all that is needed to decorate the necklace.

Now all the blanks need to be “planted” on toothpicks, then this will be more difficult to do when the ornament is applied to them. If you can make holes after baking, great! I don’t have this option yet, so I make holes with a toothpick.

To decorate each plate you will need large number thin flagella. It's better to cook more right away.

I'm starting to design the central plate. Having previously prepared the drawing on paper, I transfer it to clay using thin strands.

Between the strands of the main pattern I place rolled small balls. If toothpick marks remain on them, it’s not a problem, you’ll still have to pierce them later, but it’s better to work carefully.

I make shallow punctures throughout the entire pattern using a knitting needle, a toothpick and the round end of a hairpin. Special tools are designed for these procedures, of course, but in the absence of such, you can use improvised means.

And the last plates, they are the smallest of all, I also decorate with a new ornament.

I put all the pieces in the oven for 15-20 minutes (I take out the smallest ones after 7 minutes). Instructions for temperature conditions has been studied for a long time and is observed by me unquestioningly, since there was a bitter experience of “disobedience and experimentation”, as a result of which the product was hopelessly spoiled, as was my mood, however. So I advise you to follow the instructions.

After the blanks for the future decoration have undergone heat treatment, they must cool. And only then acrylic golden paint is applied to them. I do this not with a brush, but with my fingers. This way it’s more convenient to paint only the convex parts of the pattern, but the brush will paint all the parts, which is not included in my plans. After the paint has dried, I apply a gloss varnish.

I arrange the pieces in a certain order. I secure the beads and plates using fittings.

The original necklace made of polymer clay is ready and waiting for its owner!

In this tutorial I'll show you how to make a necklace and brooch with realistic tulips using polymer clay!

I’ll say right away that the work ahead is not easy and is very voluminous and painstaking!

To create tulips we will need:

1. Polymer clay:

  • green in different shades
  • translucent plastic
  • white clay
  • plastic in a pink or any other shade (red, crimson, purple, yellow, etc.)
  • dark brown plastic for stamens.

2. Mold for tulip petals, double-sided;
3. One and a half turns of memory wire;
4. Yellow and green pastels for tinting the pestle;
5. Floral wire;
6. Thin blade;
7. Knife;
8. Brush;
9. Scissors;
10. Various modeling tools;
11. Rolling pin;
12. Pasta machine;
13. Translucent liquid plastic or gel;
14. Glass from a photo frame.

Creating a necklace consists of several stages:

creating tulip buds (tulip petals, pistil+stamens and assembly into buds) – 1 baking
creating green leaf leaves of a flower (mixing colors + creating a sausage with longitudinal stripes)
preparing the base for a necklace - wrapping memory wire in plastic
necklace assembly + 2 baking.
When creating this necklace, I mainly used plastic from Premo and Scalpi, and also mixed in a little Fimo and Kato. I baked the products at a temperature of 130+ degrees for 15-20 minutes. The petals, leaves and stem turned out to be strong and bendable.

So let's get started!

1. The first stage is the creation of buds for the future necklace and brooch.

First you need to prepare a cane blank with a color transition to create more realistic petals! These can be different options, from two or more colors.

I prepared several versions of such sausages: white-pink, white-purple, white-raspberry-pink and white-raspberry-white :) I also made black and red!

I will not show the full process of creating these sausages - you can find these lessons on the Internet and use the one you like :) For example, I used Rusalina’s lesson on sculpting a lotus from polymer clay.

So, I divided the sausage with a color transition for the tulip petals into two parts: one thicker, the other thinner. For one bud we need three small and three large petals. We cut our sausage into slices, about one and a half millimeters thick. And flatten them with your fingers into a petal shape. Next, we place the cake between the mold for the petal and press it quite firmly on all sides - open it, give it a three-dimensional shape and lightly press the edge at the base.

We do this for all the petals and put them aside to “rest.” I made three buds: two for the necklace and one for the brooch.

First, I mixed green and translucent polymer clay 1 to 2 to give the pestle a more natural “glow” look.

We take a floral wire approximately 8 cm long, use round teeth to twist a small loop at the end and place a drop of polymer clay on it and use tools to form a pestle.

Next, we roll strips of the same plastic (1 cm) - 6 pieces and apply them to our pestle - these will be the stamens, the ends of which we lubricate with liquid plastic. We also need to tint our pestle - with a brush we apply dry pastels of yellow and green colors!

And now we make the second part of the stamen - dark brown. To make dark brown, I mixed black with red (since I didn’t have any brown)). I rolled out a thin sausage and cut into 6 small pieces, shaped them and placed them on our stamens, greased with liquid plastic!

Pistils and stamens for three tulips are ready!

Now let's start assembling the tulip!

First we apply three small petals and press them well at the base, and then three larger petals. In mine they slightly overlap one another, with the center of the large petals falling at the junction of two small petals.

I bake the buds upside down on the earring display 😉 I bake them for 15 minutes at 130 degrees.

2. The second stage is the creation of tulip leaves.

For this I used different shades of green and one of these colors, for example dark, I mixed 1k1 with translucent.

This striped sausage can be created in different ways.

3. The third stage is preparing the base of the stem for the necklace.

We mix different shades of green plastic that we prepared for work at the beginning and roll it out on a paste machine into a long strip 1mm thick. We cut strips approximately 1 cm wide and 10 cm long - this way it will be more convenient for us to wrap the wire in plastic. And then we glue the wire along its entire length. Then we press well and roll our base between our palms step by step, trying to give an even, smooth surface. We cut off the excess. Let’s “rest” - you can lay out photo frames on glass, lightly pressing the base against the glass.

We also prepare the flowers - we wrap the wire with polymer clay. The first flower will be short - 1 cm, the second - approximately 5 cm long.

4. The fourth stage is assembling the necklace.

Our base for the necklace can be rolled on glass one more time - giving a perfectly smooth surface for the stem. Next, we take a small flower (I have the middle one of the three) and carefully attach it to our stem from one edge. We smooth the base of the flower well with our fingers and various tools. And so we send it off to bake! Along with the base, I bake the second flower for the necklace, as well as the flower for the brooch, the length of which is 8 cm including the bud.

After the blank for the necklace has cooled, I attach the first leaf to it, then the second flower and again the leaf - I cover the tip of the stem of the second tulip with it! Of course, I lubricate all this with liquid translucent plastic :)

Also, I attach two leaves to the flower for the brooch and bake everything again! 15-20 minutes at the desired temperature. By the way, leaves for brooches can be baked in two stages - first glue one sheet, bake, and then the second!

For the brooch, attach a metal clasp and bake again.

My necklace is ready! I really liked making tulips, so I made as many as 6 necklaces, as well as a hair clip, a ring and brooches. I hope everything was clear and you liked my lesson! Thanks for watching and good luck in your creativity!
