In Zhukovsky near Moscow, the weather today only emphasized the holiday atmosphere. Today is the second day, but the first day off when everyone can visit the MAKS air show.

Climbing through the fence, running up, touching is the dream of every boy. However, former boys seem to be looking with envy.

Beauty that makes your head spin. People put down their cameras, look at the sky, and applaud. A heavy fighter, and spinning like a feather - the Russian Knights aerobatic team. They line up either in a diamond or a pyramid - and the legendary “Swifts” fly away. The Mi-28N helicopter, a night hunter, hovered in the air. Due to night vision devices in dark time day finds and hits any targets. The only one, unique - for Russian military aviation the epithets are unchanged.

Well, where else if not at the international aerospace show can you sit in the cockpit of a fighter jet or climb onto the wing of a Soviet Il-2. For this reason, people travel to Zhukovsky near Moscow from different cities, some by car, some by train. Free buses take everyone from the station to the airport. The price of a ticket to the air show is 900 rubles. Preferential - 400. Large families, children under 14 years old are free.

The higher, the clearer - MAKS has long become a favorite event not only for Muscovites - for the whole country. And how can you not perform all the aerobatic maneuvers perfectly when there is such support below.

Spectators spend the whole day here. Prepare in advance: sandwiches, blankets, camp chairs. Many admit: getting together for MAX is a whole ritual. The raincoat-tent, for example, was at all air shows.

This is not just where deals are made and contracts are signed. People meet here. After years of visits, dates and work meetings are arranged.

MAX takes place every two years. This is the thirteenth aviation forum. More than 600 Russian and foreign companies from 36 countries are represented here. The Arctic helicopter was highly anticipated at the May 9 parade. The audience did not see him due to the weather. But at MAKS you can take a photo with the new product military aviation everyone can. Next to it is a huge Mi-26, wide and spacious. They call him a “flying cow.” There are no competitors in terms of carrying capacity.

Better technology, higher skill of pilots. Svetlana Kapanina is a master of aerobatics in every sense. Seven-time absolute world champion in the women's competition. And her style is unusual: not figures, but an endless flight of fantasy.

“Basically these figures are all called by the same name abracadabra. That is, this is uncontrolled rotation combined with classics,” explains the pilot, seven-time absolute world champion in women’s aerobatics, Svetlana Kapanina.

The last day of the air show is Sunday. A day when visitors will look at the sky not only with delight, but also with longing. Pilots of the Rus aerobatic team traditionally draw a heart from those in the sky for those on Earth.
