You need to understand that your camera can operate in two modes:

A is a local network (it is generated by your router and the IP camera is located in the same room as your computer). Example: you have a router at home, a camera is connected to it, and a computer from which you access the Internet and control the camera. In this case, you can control the camera using an Internet browser and the Wanscam program.

Launch the utility Search tool, press Find and we see our camera in the list of devices Cameras. Select it and click on the bottom right Open. Next you will be asked to open the camera in your browser, we agree to Internet Explorer we install add-ons and the program oPlayer, it is on disk.

In browser mode there are a lot of basic camera settings; you can change the brightness and contrast and other settings.

You can also use the program on the local network Wanscam, which is located on the disk in the folder PC IE View. In local network mode it works very simply. Enter the top menu System further Device List press Open search tools a list of our cameras opens, click Searching and we see our camera in the list of devices. Click on it and it appears on the right of the list of cameras on the main page of the program. All we have to do is select it, click the checkbox and close the initialization menu, and enjoy the picture from the camera.

For cameras of new revisions with Onvif support (User Name: admin Password: admin)

Choose Video mode (this is important!!! If installed incorrectly, there will be no image!!! ):

The other two modes are for 1280x768 HD cameras.

In the field ID enter P2P the address of our camera, it is on the box or on the camera itself.

To set up the camera from a tablet or smartphone, everything is much simpler, the kit includes a coupon with a QR code for the program for iOS or android systems. Just scan the coupon with a QR scanner and the program will install itself on your gadget. You can install the program E-View7-This program is recommended by Wanscam and is very easy to set up. You can download it from Play Market or App Store. After that, connect the camera to the router. Launch the program E-View7, add a new camera, scan the QR code of your camera Id number, it is on the bottom of the camera itself or on the box, or enter the id manually. The camera is added to the list of available devices. And you can enjoy the image from your camera anywhere on the screen of your smartphone or tablet. Given that stable internet on both sides.

If you need the camera to return to the configured position, there is a PTZ function for this. There you can select up to 16 settings for the camera position, after a reboot the camera will return to setting No. 1.

5. No image in the browser (black screen). A. Plugins are not installed, install add-ons. b. Right-click on the screen and select Direct Draw video mode instead of DirectX

6. The image from the camera is black and white, the IR illumination relay constantly clicks. It is necessary to change and select the light setting at which the IR illumination turns on. Basically this value is 650. Go to the browser, settings menu, image setup. Next we see the IR illumination settings, enable, disable and auto. Below is the illumination setting from 0 to 1024. Enter the number 650 and save. If it doesn’t work, then select the desired value.
