Each person who has expressed a desire to open his own business, when registering an individual entrepreneur, or legal entity, is obliged to indicate the type of activity according to the classifier of OKVED codes of 2019.

The process of choosing a code often causes difficulties for novice entrepreneurs due to ignorance of why OKVED is needed and what it affects. In the article, we will analyze the main questions that entrepreneurs have when it is necessary to indicate the OKVED code for their activities.

What is the OKVED 2019 classifier and what is it intended for?

All-Russian classifier of species economic activity(OKVED) is a list of codes and explanations to them that characterize the activities that the new business entity plans to engage in.

According to OKVED, the classification is not affected in any way by the form of ownership or the source of investment, therefore for individual entrepreneurs and LLC there is a single classifier of OKVED codes.

Today, the OKVED 2019 classifier covers almost all types of activities existing on the territory of the Russian Federation. Therefore, for the convenience of using the classifier, a special structure was created in the form of encodings:

  • the class has a symbol - XX;
  • subclass - XX.X;
  • group - XX.XX;
  • subgroup - XX.XX.X;
  • view - XX.XX.XX.

To understand why you need a classifier of OKVED codes, you should know its main functions:

  • classification and coding of types of economic activities declared by entrepreneurs during registration;
  • definition of the main and additional types economic activities carried out by an entrepreneur
  • Collection of information about business entities for further accounting;
  • coding information by type of economic activity in information systems and resources;

Speaking in simple words codes give government bodies an idea of what an individual entrepreneur does in a standardized form

How to choose OKVED in 2019

When choosing a type of activity, you should know that there are two types of OKVED: main and additional. This is due to the fact that there are no restrictions on the number of selectable codes, but the main activity should be highlighted.

So, if an entrepreneur is engaged retail and rental of transport. He needs to decide which of the areas is the main one, because the amount of contributions that will have to be paid to the social insurance fund depends on the main type of activity.

To choose the right code, you need to take a few simple steps:

  • Determine what activities the organization will be engaged in;
  • Find the required section in the reference book;
  • Select the code that corresponds to the selected activity;
  • Enter it in the application for registration of an individual entrepreneur or LLC.

In case you decide to expand / change the list of your activities, you definitely need to add / change OKVED codes... To do this, you need to write an application for making additions and refer it to the organization where the company and the original codes were registered. The necessary changes will be made in accordance with your application. If this is not done in a timely manner, the entrepreneur will face penalties.

To search for code by text, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F

The development of society and society always stimulates the emergence of new types of entrepreneurship in order to provide personal services for which there is a demand. The emergence of new areas of its satisfaction provokes the formation of various groups of activities that are unable to form certain groups in OKVED. It is for such activities that there is the concept of "other" services, and the code for them will be OKVED 93..

When there is no group

The concept of "other" arises in the classifier to combine various small areas of activity, which are combined into one (other) due to the fact that it does not have a similar relationship with others, and the diversity of the subdivision.

In the sphere of providing personal services to the population, this issue is of particular relevance, since they can differ in a huge variety.

In turn, it is very important for an entrepreneur to find that the code belongs to a special group, since it is in this way that the most appropriate code can be found, the use of which will not cause any doubts among the regulatory authorities, which means that the organization of the business will be easy and simple.

Consideration of specific code

In order to display which services are combined under the code we are considering, it is necessary to make its detailed and step-by-step decryption, and then consider, with examples, those types of entrepreneurship that can be included in it:

  • Section O. It is devoted to various services that the entrepreneur is going to provide to the population. This may include services of a communal, personal, and also social type.
  • Code 93.0 - shows that the activity belongs to the provision of a personal type of service.
  • Code 93. - it is in this form that it can be indicated in registration documents and serves to unite and indicate the types of activities called "other".

Decoding OKVED 93. lies in the provision of other types of personal services. If we consider examples of activities that are successfully registered by the tax authorities under this code, then here you can find the work of mediums and spiritualists, as well as astrologers. It can also be the services of a dating agency, marriage agencies, escort. Also, under this code can work persons who provide services for shoe shine, cargo transfer, as well as servicing car parks. Family tree research also occurs as part of an activity registered under the code in question.

Service in the hotel business is not limited to granting the right to temporary residence for money. Hotels and hotels compete with each other not only pricing policy, location in the city and quality of reviews. Bright promises of excellent service on hotel websites and banners always play into the hands of a hotelier. It is clear that when choosing between hotels with similar characteristics, the client chooses the one that provides high-quality and comprehensive service.

Competition in the field additional services in the hotel business - an important component of the hotel's life, the quality of recreation for visitors and an increase in the level of service in the hospitality industry as a whole. In this article, read about what is personal service in a hotel how to attract self-respecting clients and leave good impression about the enterprise.

Basic services include direct guest accommodation, room care and maintenance, and ordered meals. Basic hotel services can be paid or free. The main paid services- This is temporary accommodation and meals.

TO compulsory free service , the minimum list of which is fixed at the legislative level, include:

  • Calling an ambulance if necessary
  • 24-hour availability and availability of a first aid kit with a minimum amount of necessary medicines
  • Delivery of letters, newspapers and other correspondence intended for the guest to the room
  • The guest wakes up at the designated time (for example, before the flight)
  • Providing boiling water
  • Some care products: threads, needles. Iron on request
  • Replacing used dishes

Of course, in your hotel it is only for you to decide what benefits to provide the guest for free, but the specified minimum must be observed, otherwise the service in your hotel will differ in bad manners, and there is also a risk of running into a check due to a complaint on a trifle matter. If the hotel asks for money for boiling water, then you can hardly count on free access to Wi-Fi and, in general, on a friendly attitude. Offended by primitive actions, the guest will never return to your hotel and will not recommend it to anyone.

Personal services in a hotel is a special service provided individually, taking into account the needs of the client. Personal service can start with a private transfer and end with a personal VIP guest assistant.

The list is wide common paid services:

  • Organization of meals in a restaurant at a hotel, cafe or buffet.

  • Use of the conference room, small meeting space, etc.

The list is endless. It is worth noting that hoteliers try to keep prices for such services at a competitive level so that a potential consumer of services does not have to resort to assistance. outside organizations... This is quite difficult to do if you keep all the specialists of the above service on staff. In conditions where your main target audience does not provide for the daily use of the services of a cosmetologist, you can formalize a relationship with a professional with a service agreement.

At the same time, the terms of cooperation can be very different: from a percentage for attracting a client to barter. It is important to always have at hand several contacts and agreements with the relevant specialists in order to provide the declared service as soon as possible.
The same applies to most of the services described, the possibility of obtaining which is a good form in the hotel business. The price list should be located in the immediate vicinity of the reception desk. Prices should be indicated in rubles and, preferably, in the currency that would be convenient for many guests.

For example, the opportunity to exchange European Euros or pay them at a hotel where foreign guests flock will be a significant plus and will be appreciated by the guest. Many of the newcomers simply do not want to look for an exchange opportunity, waste time on it and have doubts. They are more likely to pay a small hotel commission to avoid unnecessary actions.

Of course, for hotels of a low price category, this section is hardly of interest. However, if your hotel has suites, it is advisable to meet the expectations of the guests, or even better - to anticipate them. In high-class hotels, a whole detailed instructions on the behavior of the administrator and other employees with especially important guests.

These guests can be divided into 2 categories: VIP (VIPs) and CIP (Commercial VIPs). The first are showbiz stars, well-known media personalities, representatives of the law and other people whose presence in your institution can be proudly hung on the wall. The second are the persons on whose opinion the continuation of the hotel's life depends to a large extent: the co-owner of the hotel chain, representatives of regulatory bodies, members of the board of directors of the partner enterprise, etc.

A common feature for both groups of VIPs is a high level of solvency, increased demand for service and the need for paid exclusive services.

These guests, as a rule, are assigned a separate assistant who must be at the hotel for the entire period of their stay. The most demanding guests do not like confusion and procrastination. Therefore, it is easier for him to remember one (one) assistant, who will answer absolutely all questions of interest and fulfill wishes as a matter of urgency. A wealthy guest always does not want to negotiate about anything and with anyone. Therefore, if he wants to take a ride around the city in the evening, with a check-in at a restaurant, the personal assistant must organize everything at the highest level: so that a car is already waiting for the guest at the exit from the hotel and is nearby until he returns.

Highest execution speed
The full competence of the assigned assistant (from the sights of the city to the knowledge of the restaurant menu)
Proposals for organizing free time
Invisibility and good manners of staff
Desire to preserve the usual way of life in a foreign city
The exclusivity of the offers of goods and services.

Hospitality business owners are not limited in choosing the range of services that may seem appropriate. VIP guests at the hotel are a headache for the staff, on the one hand, and the opportunity to earn good money and improve the image level of the hotel, on the other.

In order to find out what is missing from your target audience, it is advisable to do small surveys of guests at check-out. It is important that they are not burdensome and offer several options for services that guests can use, as people sometimes find it difficult to imagine what they need hypothetically.
