V-belt 1200 A(A)
Designed for drives of machine tools, industrial installations and agricultural machines.The belt consists of a supporting layer based on chemical fiber materials (cord cord or cord fabric), a wrapping fabric layer and layers of rubber, vulcanized into one product. The load-bearing layer is located in the longitudinal direction of the belt. Fabric may be used in the rubber layers.

Belts of the same section and the same length are assembled in groups. A set is considered to be two or more belts designed for simultaneous operation in multi-belt transmission. Belts of one set can be completed and packaged in bundles with a certain number of multiplicities (by quantity).
- Broadcast V-belts carried out by one or more belts. The profiles of pulley grooves for industrial installations must be made in accordance with GOST 20898-80, for stationary agricultural machines - in accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation adopted in agricultural engineering.
- Belts installed on pulleys manually in a relaxed state, without the use of any tools.
- The transmission pulley shafts should be parallel and the pulley grooves should be opposite each other. The non-parallelism of the pulley axes should not exceed 1 mm per 100 mm of length. Axial displacement pulley grooves are allowed no more than 2 mm per 1 m center distance and increase by more than 0.2 mm for every 100 mm center distance over 1 m.
- The pulley grooves must be clean and free of grease, solvents and other substances. They should not be painted over.
- Belt tension during operation must be periodically monitored and adjusted, especially in the first 48 hours of operation.
- When transporting and storing machine tools, industrial plants and stationary agricultural machines, it is recommended to loosen the belt tension.
- If one belt fails, it is recommended to remove the entire set. The use of new belts with used belts is unacceptable.
Belts used ones are selected in separate sets.

V-belts are designed to transmit torque between rotating shafts of various mechanisms and machines. Widely used in machine tool, automotive, agricultural and printing technology, in special drives, etc. Drive belts of section V(B) are manufactured in accordance with State Standards 1284.1-89 and 1284.2-89 and depending on climatic version Can be used in areas with very cold, cold, temperate and tropical climates.
All types of V-belts, including those with section profile V(B), are used in power and kinematic transmissions at linear speeds of up to 30 m/s. The transmitted power is determined by the number of belts working simultaneously in the drive. The procedure and methodology for calculating V-belts and V-belt drives are given in GOST 1284.3-96.
Belts with V-section profile B (B) are made of technical rubber on a cord base. Twisted cord has greater flexibility than cord fabric, so it can be used in drives with small pulley diameters.
Technical Parameters
When designing V-belt drives, the belt width along the neutral section line (Wp) is included in the calculations. The neutral line is understood as a section in which the rubber product does not experience compression or tension forces when bending around the drive or driven pulleys. The width at the larger (upper) base in the drawings of V-belts is given for reference. Limit deviations from nominal geometric parameters in general mechanical engineering are not taken into account (only when designing special equipment or measuring pulleys).
The length of V-belts with section profile V(B) is regulated by GOST 1284.1-89, according to which RTI are produced in lengths from 630 mm to 6300 mm. At the same time, GOST allows that, by separate agreement with the manufacturer, it is possible to produce V-belts of non-standard length. To compensate for errors in belt lengths, as well as to compensate for their stretching during prolonged operation under load, special tensioning devices must be provided in mechanisms and machines.
