On July 23, a specialized aircraft for performing aerial chemical work took part in the MAKS-2017 flight program.

Participants and guests of MAKS 2017 warmly welcomed the debutant. The T-500 aircraft spent seven minutes in the sky above the territory of the International Aviation and Space Salon, demonstrating its carbon wing to the audience from a height.

“This unique aircraft fits perfectly into the MAKS-2017 flight program, the purpose of which, as a rule, is to demonstrate new types of aircraft. Created entirely from composite materials using the latest aviation technologies, the T-500 became not only the debut of the air show, but also a new word civil aviation"- noted general manager them. A.G. Romashina Andrey Silkin.

The aircraft can be used for monitoring environment(especially during fire periods), inspection of long-distance industrial facilities, impact on hydrometeorological phenomena, treatment of forests against pests, liquidation of oil spills. The T-500 aircraft is produced by ORPP "Technology" named after. A.G. Romashina together with the developer - the MVEN Company (Republic of Tatarstan).

T-500 - it is a single-seat low-wing aircraft with a tractor propeller. The aircraft is made of composite materials using the hot molding method, so it can be operated in regions with difficult climatic conditions.

According to Technology, its wingspan is 12.4 m, length - 7.7 m, height - 2.3 m. The vehicle is equipped with a Lycoming 0-540-B4B5-235 engine of 8.87 liters with a service life of 3 thousand. flight hours. The aircraft's cruising speed is 160 km/h, and its maximum flight range is 1000 km. The empty plane weighs 756 kg. Its maximum take-off weight is 1475 kg, the volume of the chemical mixture tank is 500 liters. The aircraft is equipped with a high-speed parachute system for rescuing the pilot and the aircraft. The specially designed chassis allows the T-500 to be operated outside of airfields.

The aircraft's nozzle spray system is designed for ultra-low-volume spraying technology, which allows for economical and efficient field treatment. The T-500 can also process fields at low altitude, in which, thanks to a powerful turbulent flow, the drug also reaches the bottom of plant leaves.

I was surprised to discover the absence of an article about one of the most promising representatives of small aviation created in our country. I'm fixing it!

At the MAKS 2017 air show, Obninsk "Technology" together with the Kazan company "MVEN" presented a complex for aerial chemical works consisting of a T-500 aircraft and a gas station.

The aircraft was created in record time short terms, the agreement between the companies was signed in December 2016, and in July 2017 it already made its first flight. The development of the T-500 aircraft was based on the developments of the MVEN company and Tekhnologiya’s many years of experience in the production of structures from composite materials for space and aviation. The entire airframe of the aircraft is composite; loaded elements such as the load-bearing surface of the wing, spar, rudders and flaps were made of domestic carbon fiber, and the rest of the airframe was made of cheaper fiberglass, which saved significant money.

The engine selected for the aircraft American company Lycoming, for the reason that service centers for their maintenance are located all over the world, and the aircraft itself is expected to be delivered not only to Russian market, but also for export. At the same time, the design of the aircraft is designed in such a way that in the future it would be possible to install other engines with minimal modifications.

One of the significant events of the exhibition was the signing of an agreement with the Russian Aviation Register on the certification of the aircraft; work should be completed by the end of 2017. The aircraft will receive a type certificate in the first half of 2018. Certification is a complex and very expensive undertaking, but without it, the aircraft is simply prohibited from being sold!

The production of the aircraft was also supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rosagroleasing. The companies expect to sell at least 20 aircraft per year starting in 2020. A production capacity designed for 60 aircraft.

The use of an aircraft will significantly reduce the cost and increase the coverage of chemical application in the fields, which in turn will greatly increase yields. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, required quantity There are 1000 such aircraft in Russia, and 2000 in the world.

On Sunday, July 23, the T-500 aircraft made a demonstration flight at the MAKS 2017 air show, demonstrating its high flight qualities. According to pilot reviews, the aircraft is very easy to fly, it forgives many mistakes, and the design of the landing gear allows it to land directly on a plowed field.

The aircraft also uses a parachute rescue system developed by the MVEN company, which allows saving the life of the pilot and the aircraft itself in the event of an emergency.

State science center The Russian Federation "ONPP "Technology" named after A. G. Romashin" (part of the structure of the State Corporation "Rostec") for the first time presents the project "Field Aviation Complex for Agriculture" (PAK SKh). The PAK CX includes the new Russian T-500 aerial chemical work aircraft with a composite airframe, a nozzle spray system and a ground refueling complex. According to the official representative of the center, today there are no domestic analogues of such a complex.
The implementation of the PAK CX project began less than a year ago, when the MVEN company from Tatarstan and the Obninsk Tekhnologiya signed a memorandum of cooperation. The prototype of the T-500 specialized aircraft for aerial chemical work was the MV-500 developed by the same company "MVEN".
ORPP "Technology" told Show Observer that the T-500 is a single-seat low-wing aircraft with a tractor propeller. The aircraft is made of composite materials using the hot molding method, so it can be operated in regions with difficult climatic conditions. According to Tekhnologiya, its wingspan is 12.4 m, length - 7.7 m, height - 2.3 m. The T-500 can also process fields at low altitude, in which, thanks to a powerful turbulent flow, the drug also reaches the bottom of plant leaves. BC can pollinate more than 100 ha/h.
The project to create a serial PAK CX is being implemented in partnership with the MVEN company, the developer of the T-500. On production areas ONPP "Technology" produces a composite airframe and cockpit glazing.
Its creators see the main area of application for the T-500 in agriculture. Also, according to experts from Tekhnologiya, such aircraft will be in demand in other areas: environmental monitoring, inspection of oil and gas pipelines, sports aviation, etc.
The T-500 aircraft has already successfully passed flight tests. In parallel, work is underway to certify it. It is planned that the agreement with the Aviation Registry of the Russian Federation on the start of work on type certification will be signed. Type certification is expected in 2018. In the future, ONPP "Technology" together with the company "MVEN" plan to produce up to 60 aircraft per year. The cost of the T-500 aircraft is estimated at 12 million rubles. Together with a ground-based refueling complex, this amount increases to 13 million rubles. Tekhnologiya noted that Tatarstan and the Kaluga region were the first to show interest in the new aircraft. Negotiations are currently underway with consumers from Portugal and Angola. As part of the air show, ONPP "Technology" plans to sign agreements on cooperation in the field of agrochemical work in the Kaluga region between ONPP "Technology" and the Kaluga Research Institute of Agriculture. And on July 23, the T-500 should make its first flight at MAKS.
