A teacher is a way of life. Or a diagnosis)) There are no former teachers. And my 18.5 years of work as a teacher have left a mark on my life. Both in my life and in the lives of my students.
But who said that a teacher can and should only work in school? Or in another institution where the Ministry of Education pays the salary?
They say that one of the leaders of the former Soviet Union, either Stalin or Khrushchev, said that people of two professions will never die of hunger, they will feed themselves: doctors and teachers. I don’t know if any of them really said this or what they meant. But now it increasingly seems that teachers' salaries are based on this very statement.
But this is already a type of politics. We won't go there.
Dear fellow teacher! Everything is solvable. “Don’t cry, don’t be afraid, don’t ask...” Go to the Internet. Now it is increasingly turning into a state without borders for those who teach and those who study.
Now I'm starting a new project. The goal of the project is to help fellow teachers get online.
My mission in this project is to help an ordinary teacher find a “second wind” in his profession in order to stop depending on circumstances, gain confidence in the future and successfully make money on his knowledge and skills.

How did this project start?
In principle, such plans have been in place for a long time. But, as they say, they were in the air, not turning into anything real. Work in bulk and in existing projects.
But a month and a half ago, at the end of August, an event occurred. It was a conversation with a former colleague. I did not ask permission to publish her name, so I will call her by the letters of her first name and patronymic S.P.
S.P. – primary school teacher with extensive experience and first qualification category. Smart, very responsible, diligent. Works in a small school as a primary school teacher.
The school is small. But there are big problems with it. Including the problem of school closure as part of the general trend of “optimization” of the network of educational institutions. That is, the sword of Damocles hangs. But until recently, he just hung there, not creating a real threat.
But now he staggered dangerously. It is about to fall, injuring many. The reason was a careless public expression of dissatisfaction with the existing state of affairs by one of the teachers. Naturally, I won’t go into details, there’s no need.
The result is a sharp reaction from higher education authorities. A lot of showdowns, inspections and a real threat of closing the school by the next academic year.
The teachers are shocked. What if the school actually closes? Where to go? To a collective farm (we still have collective farms, or rather KSUPs)? Or work somewhere on the road, far from home?
In general, someone will be able to find a job in their specialty or master another. But some people don’t.
Here's to S.P. Neither the first nor the second option will work. In particular, she will not be able to leave home and family for the whole day, due to circumstances. And the transport problem has not been solved.
This is where it’s time to think about working for an online teacher. But the vast majority of teachers do not know what and how to do as a teacher on the Internet.
We talked with S.P. And although she sees my example and knows that I can and should be trusted, her brain has difficulty accepting information about the possibility of working and earning money from home.
How's that? In 2-3 months, get your school salary without leaving home? Yes, I can’t believe it for a person who has been “going to work” all his life. Moreover, teachers are conservative people.
And if someone else, and not me, had talked to her about this, she wouldn’t have listened. I would simply brush it off like an annoying fly. And I would continue to be nervous, sinking into depression.
But to me S.P. believes. And now we agreed: if anything happens, if it’s ripe, come to me. There is a way out, and there is absolutely no need to panic.
What other “if anything” could there be when you urgently need access to the Internet?
This is the “if anything” that S.P.’s daughter already has. Smart, beautiful. A very young girl, not yet married. She graduated from pedagogical college and works as an after-school student. Car trips of 7 km and correspondence sessions at the university eat up the lion's share of the salary.
I saved money for a tourist trip throughout the last school year; I wanted to relax in the summer. It didn't work out. The car broke down, all the money was spent on repairs. Otherwise, there will be nothing to drive to work! My parents couldn't help, my father is unemployed. Now he goes to work again and earns money to maintain his car.
She definitely needs the Internet urgently. At least in the evenings, devoting 2-3 hours a day, to earn yourself a normal rest.
I generally cannot remain silent about teachers on maternity leave.
Here I will give an example not even of a teacher on maternity leave, but of a pediatrician. Which, nevertheless, is engaged in educational activities online. For now, on someone else’s project, since my 1.5-year-old son doesn’t really let me get going. But now he is preparing his own educational project.
And here I don’t need to hide behind initials. We are talking about one of my daughters, Elena, who runs the website of information businessman Mikhail Gavrilov on the “children’s and mother’s” theme, agushkin.ru.
Moreover, he writes articles in his own name and with his signature. If you are not too lazy to go to the site, then in all articles on pediatrics and in some on obstetrics you will see the conclusion at the end of the article: “About ... the practicing pediatrician and twice-mother Elena Borisova-Tsarenok told you.”
Lena went on maternity leave for the second time on December 24, 2015. They celebrated the New Year with her family at our parents’ place. Having celebrated the New Year, on January 1, 2016, she and I sat down at my computer to open her e-wallets. My husband came running: what are you doing, why, who will transfer money to her there, is it paid or free?
The money appeared in early February, as soon as the holidays were over. And slowly they flowed in a thin stream.
At the end of March, Lena had a son. And on June 6, a conversation took place at my house. I don’t remember the specific reason, but Lena said the following:
- If I need a million or two (we had that kind of money back then, it was 50-100 dollars), then I won’t bother. I'll go to the computer and start earning money!
As they say, no comments. The person gained confidence that in any situation she and her children would not be left without a piece of bread.
The next conversation took place in November 2016, when my other daughter’s child became ill and she was in danger of losing her job. I again quote Elena’s words on this matter:
- And I think that before school I will survive all Vanya’s tears and snot at home, working on the Internet. When I started, I, of course, believed that I would earn money, but I thought of it as a part-time job. Now I see that getting up to my salary at the clinic and above is not a problem, it’s quite possible.
How do you like it? I was pleased to listen. After all, it is clear that the iron chain tying one to work, employer, and salary level has been broken. There are no boundaries or restrictions. I wish I had the desire and strength to work!
By the way, three of my 5 children already work on the Internet. Everyone is engaged in different activities from those listed in this. Everything works out.
The eldest daughter Larisa saved 156 thousand Russian rubles, earned on the Internet, for a summer vacation with her family (husband and two sons). That was more than enough. But no one believed it either.
When she started with little Matvey in her arms, her husband broke his laptop on his knee one evening. And then the order is on fire! I secured it, completed it, and passed it. And the next day I bought her a new laptop. No one else broke anything. And everyone in her family knows: mom works at the computer, and doesn’t play tchotchkes!
Larisa, by the way, doesn’t think about her project. It is more convenient for her, a busy person who also works at work, to work on one-time orders. If you have time or need money, it works. I don’t have time or I’m tired, I need to rest - it doesn’t work.
So far we have been talking about young or middle-aged teachers. About people of pre-retirement age or recently retired is a separate conversation.
And the essence of this conversation comes down to one thing - we need to prepare escape routes, create a “safety cushion”. So that you don’t feel “excruciatingly painful”, cold and hungry when at work they say: “Thank you! We no longer need your services. Go home and take advantage of your well-deserved rest."
So what then? “And that’s it,” as one of my grandchildren says, “that’s all,” “retirement has arrived.” How much is it - 150-200 dollars? Live as you want.
And it’s even worse if they don’t seem to push you at work, but you no longer have the strength. The profession of a teacher requires a lot of effort, not every young person has enough!
I dare say that the way out of this dark tunnel is through the Internet. It’s not only possible to make money there, but you should. Only this way out needs to be looked for as early as possible. Otherwise it may be too late...
And it’s better to go with a guide who has already walked this path and knows all the potholes on the road. Don't go where you shouldn't go. It’s better to take on what you know how to do – work in the field of educational activities.
And an important point. Make a decision for yourself - to pay for anything on the Internet only from the money you earn there. Well, perhaps with the exception of the first steps, which should bring the first money that will give a start to your development and building a business on the Internet.
Is this possible? The answer is clear: YES. There are plenty of options. Start with work, and not with some mythical opportunities for quick earnings or investments. Don't go into the pyramids. Don't start with affiliate programs. This is a way of earning money that involves costs. If you want, you can start affiliate programs when you earn money from them from the Internet.

Regions themselves decide how and what to pay teachers by choosing a specific model. Currently in use three models of remuneration systems. Model 1 based on base salary and promotion factors. It allows, when calculating the permanent part of the salary of school employees, to rely on the base salaries approved at the regional level (for employees occupying the same position, the base salary is the same). Depending on the characteristics of the teacher’s workload (number of teaching hours, volume of extracurricular activities performed, etc.), increasing factors are applied to the base salary. When implementing this NSOT model, the different number of students for different teachers can also be taken into account when calculating salaries through a special coefficient.
Model No. 2 based on the teacher's salary for 36 working hours per week. In it, all types of teacher activities are paid in salary for 36 working hours per week. Within these 36 hours there may be both school hours and non-school hours (for example, hours for checking notebooks or for holding parent-teacher meetings, etc.). The share of instructional and extracurricular hours of a particular teacher is determined by the employment contract between the teacher and the employer. The cost of an instructional and extracurricular hour of work for a teacher can be approved at the level of an educational organization, municipality, or region as a whole.
Model No. 3 based on student hours. It allows, when calculating the permanent part of teachers’ salaries, to take into account the difference in the number of teaching hours taught by teachers and the number of students with whom teachers work.
Each organization, within the scope of its wage fund, independently calculates the amount of a student hour (the cost of a teacher working with one student for one academic hour). For each teacher, the number of student-hours of workload is determined. Thus, the constant part of a teacher’s salary takes into account the intensity of his work.
What to do to get a decent salary?
IN modern conditions You can imagine the following options:
1.Select region, educational organization , where teachers have higher salaries and there are vacancies. As they say, “the fish looks for where it’s deeper, and the man looks for where the fish are.” To do this, you just need to be prepared to change places.
2.The more you work, the more you get. It’s not for nothing that they say: “As you trample, so shall you burst.” According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, employee wages no size limits limited. Part-time work is not prohibited. So far, the concept of “rate of 18 hours per week” is used only in certain cases.
3.A highly qualified specialist receives more . You can increase your level of qualifications, for example: get a higher education, a higher qualification category, an academic degree, earn awards, undergo retraining courses, actively participate in the work of methodological organizations, methodological projects, master and use modern methods, technologies and teaching aids, etc. ., and, thus, provide better education, performance, prepare winners and prize-winners of Olympiads, competitions, projects, etc.
4.Take advantage of teacher grant opportunities. We hold quite a lot of events at the federal, regional and municipal levels (professional competitions, teacher support programs, etc.), as a result of which a teacher can receive grants.
5.A teacher’s salary is also influenced by the competitiveness of the educational organization, its image, the organization’s income-generating activities, and contributions from sponsors and philanthropists. By participating in these processes, the teacher contributes to the growth of the extra-budgetary component of the organization’s budget, part of which can be used to encourage teachers - bonuses, additional payments to salaries.
